Miss Universe Wales Beauty Pageant Auditions for Miss Universe Swansea, Miss Universe Newport & Miss Universe Cardiff Pageant’s have been announced.
The Beauty Pageant auditions venue for Newport, Swansea & Cardiff is the Revolution Vodka Bar in each City.

Miss Universe Wales is the regional competition for Miss Universe GB which is the UK qualifier for Miss Universe owned by Billionaire Donald Trump. The winner from Miss Universe Wales and two runners up will take part from Cardiff/Swansea and Newport to compete in MisUniverse GB and the winner will represent the UK at the world final of Miss Universe competition which is held in a different country every year. In December 2012, Cardiff Uni student, Holly Hale, miss Universe Cardiff and GB 2012, did just that and spent a fabulous month in Las Vegas.
This is a huge life changing opportunity for all the young ladies out there.
The auditions for Miss Universe Wales will be taking place in February. There will be three auditions for each of the areas. This is an open audition and each of the contestant will be judged by a panel of judges, followed by video interviews and photoshoot.
If you cannot make the audition for your region, do attend one of the other two, but let the organiser know you are from another region. To Apply to enter the Miss Universe Wales competition you must:
* Be British and a resident of Wales * Have a link with either Cardiff, Newport or Swansea – ie born, live, work or study there * Be between 18-27 years old * Be free to take part in Miss Universe GB 2011 (if you win Miss Universe Cardiff, Newport or Swansea) * Never have been married or have had children * Should not be a current holder of another recognised UK title * Hold a British passport and have been resident in the country for at least 6 months
This year Miss Universe Wales and GB is supporting Strong Bones The Childrens Charitable Trust S.C.C.T. a national registered charity set up to help relieve the pain, suffering and financial burden of families who have children suffering from brittle bone disease, bone cancer, scoliosis, arthritis, and all other muscular skeletal conditions.
